We celebrated our 34th anniversary on August 25th. It was a VERY hot and humid day 34 years ago.....
Cute, huh? My hair was long and straight, and Chuck's was long and kinky, especially with all the humidity. Chuck still has the moustache, but where is all the dark hair?? No strapless gowns back then, either - long sleeves and high necks only! We were both very hot by this time after our non-air-conditioned church basement reception of little sandwiches, fruit in a hollowed out watermelon, punch, and cake - nothing but the best!
This year, the weather was nice and cool, and we went out for dinner at The Melting Pot in downtown Minneapolis for a great fondue dinner. The fruit dipped in dark chocolate was a fantastic ending for a great meal!

Happy Anniversary. I remember that day very well - hot rollers in the hair every half hour! The best was the look of surprise on your faces when you opened the garage door and your car was missing - heh, heh!
