Charlie turned two way back on May 8th! Jenna and Andy planned a great "UP" party for him, complete with a house ready to fly away with helium balloons (if you haven't seen the movie, do so - it's really cute!)
Charlie loved the balloons, and so did Crosby in the background!
Jenna looks about ready to deliver that new baby!
Charlie had so much fun opening presents this year!
One of his favorites was this digger. He's still playing with it two months later. :-)
The cake was awesome, and it tasted good, too!
Charlie LOVED it!
Ooooooh, so cool!
Skyping with the Pittsburgh grandparents. Wish you were here!
Fingers were made before forks...
Since the "Up" party was a few days before Charlie's actual birthday, Chuck and I came back for the real day, and of course, brought a few small gifts (Little Critter books, Charlie's new favorite reads)
So funny!
He also got a new lawn mower, which he had to try out right away (on the cement????).
"I'm two!"
OK, there's a story behind this one. I bought a small cake from the bakery for Charlie's actual birthday, and (duh!) we walked out of the house without it. We realized halfway to South St. Paul that is was sitting at home on the counter, way too late to go back and get it. So....we stuck a few candles in some leftover key lime pie bars that Jenna had on hand, and Charlie didn't know the difference!
I, however, felt really bad, so I came back the next day with the cake, and he got to blow out candles AGAIN!
I think he's really two now!
